Living room: Mirrors are a versatile decor item in terms of where you may want to put them in your home. So, while they are bomb for just staring at yourself, they are also able to make a room feel more open. Position mirrors on the wall opposite a window, so that light that comes through the window reflects on the mirror, amplifying the luminosity and making the room much bigger than it is. If you like to make it more of a feature, then paint other wall or add wallpaper to highlight, centered with the mirror behind it. This will create a more open feel to the living room.

Space is very limited in smaller living rooms, which is why the corner of the room as in this picture must be an area that is 100% maximized. This can be accomplished in an L-shaped sectional, provided it doesn’t fill the entire room. A sectional will actually make a room look bigger only if it has a full corner and some free space around it. The sectional will allow for a smaller coffee table to fit in the corner and possibly some other furnishings, such as a tall bookshelf could fit next to the sectional.
